Cornea

The cornea is the transparent surface of the eye, covering the iris, pupil and anterior chamber. It is the point where light enters the eye and its greatest source of optical power. Our doctors diagnose and treat the varied conditions of the anterior segment of the eye where the cornea is located. We specialize in a variety of excisional and grafting procedures of the front of the eye, as well as in penetrating keratoplasty (PKP), known as corneal transplant.
